New to Carolina Heat Pipe in 2017, Darrell brings over 30 years of engineering experience to the company.
His previous roles include Process Engineering, Facility Management, Construction and Project Management, Energy Management and Consulting Engineering. In the most recent 15 years Darrell has focused his engineering expertise with energy management and identifying and improving energy efficiency in the commercial and industrial space. He has an excellent understanding of HVAC systems.
Darrell earned his Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology from Indiana State University and his Master of Science in Building Construction and Facility Management from The Georgia Institute of Technology. He is active member with the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). Darrell is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and a corresponding member of ASHRAE Technical Committee 8.10 – Mechanical Dehumidifiers and Heat Pipes.
