Carolina Heat Pipe Impacting Students through Schools

Carolina Heat Pipe has had the pleasure of helping several middle and high schools keep students comfortable so they can focus on what’s the most important thing during their day and that’s learning.

An International Journal of Medical Research & Health Sciences study lists temperature as the second out of five items in a student’s physical environment that can impact learning negatively.

The learning environment dramatically affects the learning outcomes of students. Schools’ open space and noise, inappropriate temperature, insufficient light, overcrowded classes, misplaced boards and inappropriate classroom layout all make up factors that could be confounding variables distracting students in class.

The climate control we provide is essential to a healthy environment for students and ensures safety against leaks and mold growth helping prevent student illnesses and even keeping students more alert by avoiding warm stuffy rooms that can cause drowsiness.

Relative Humidity (RH) levels of 30-60% reduce the spread of viruses and bacteria. Our TRAHP® systems are often customized to fit within air handlers to provide energy-efficient precooling of the entering air and use that energy to provide free controllable reheat to main the desired room RH.

Below are a few schools that have incorporated a Carolina Heat Pipe designed and manufactured Thermosyphon Run Around Heat Pipe system:
