Carolina Heat Pipe Delivers Energy‑Efficient Humidity Control at Valencia Lakes Club House

Valencia Lakes Club House in Wimauma, Florida, needed a smarter way to keep guests comfortable in a hot, humid climate while controlling energy costs. With average outdoor temperatures near 85°F and relative humidity hovering around 75%, the clubhouse’s mixed-use spaces demanded reliable dehumidification without excessive maintenance or utility spend.
To meet this challenge, the project incorporated a controllable, energy‑efficient Thermosyphon Run Around Heat Pipe system (TRAHP®) into a Trane CSAA size 10 air handler treating 3,300 CFM of outdoor air. The goal was to boost building efficiency, enhance moisture removal, and maintain comfort for residents and visitors using the clubhouse throughout the day. Carolina Heat Pipe partnered with Trane Technologies and ASR Engineering to deliver a wraparound heat pipe solution tailored to Florida’s demanding climate.
