Darrell Sandlin, President of Carolina Heat Pipe, has been appointed ASHRAE 2024 Membership Chair for Region IV. This was announced during the Chapters Regional Conference (CRC) at Lake Lanier, Georgia, in July.

ASHRAE Chapter Regional Conferences (CRCs) are held twice a year, allowing chapters and members to meet, interact, and socialize on a regional level. These conferences are crucial for fostering community among ASHRAE members and offer an effective local option for many members to participate actively in regional activities. The agenda typically includes workshops, technical sessions, technical tours, addresses by Society officers and staff, and regional award presentations, all aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of attendees in our industry.

Darrell Sandlin, CHP PresidentRegion IV encompasses seven chapters in the Southeastern United States. His role will be pivotal in ensuring that these chapters remain engaged and that membership continues to grow, strengthening ASHRAE’s influence and reach in the region.
