About our President, Darrell Sandlin
Darrell is the backbone of our organization. He’s involved in all business areas from research and development to sales, design and installation, and then follow-up. At the heart of Carolina Heat Pipe’s business philosophy is the goal is to do the job right the first time. We do that by listening. We are devoted to advancing the quality of dehumidification and energy recovery by implementing heat pipe technology in our TRAHP™ products. We pass our decades of experience on to our clients.
Founded by Richard “Dick” Trent, Darrell carries on the Carolina Heat Pipe tradition of excellence with over 35 years of engineering experience, including roles as a Process Engineer, Manufacturing Facility Manager, Construction Manager, Global Energy Manager, and Consulting Engineer. In 2017 he began his current role as President of Carolina Heat Pipe, designing and integrating heat pipe solutions for energy-efficient dehumidification and air-to-air energy recovery applications. Darrell earned his Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology from Indiana State University and his Master of Science in Building Construction and Facility Management from The Georgia Institute of Technology. Darrell keeps up with the latest news, trends and developments in heat pipe technology. He uses that knowledge to help in CHP’s own R&D initiatives.
